The race to sign Napoli striker this summer has taken a major twist as Galatasaray are, reportedly, ready to throw their hat into the ring to keep the 26-year-old permanently.

With his hands tied, Galatasaray capitalised and managed to sign him on a season-long loan deal, owing to their transfer window closing later than most of Europe. Since moving to Istanbul, Osimhen has continued to show his worth scoring 33 goals in 37 appearances for the club.
This has led the Nigeria striker to be linked with a move to the once again with , and all being credited with interest. PSG are, also, thought to be keen on bringing the centre-forward back to France and linking him back up with their January signing from Napoli, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
However, understands that Galatasaray are desperate to keep Osimhen in Turkey. It is reported that they have learned of a plan to sign the striker which would be 'historic' for Turkish football.
Galatasaray, owing to the backing of their board, are ready to bid £56m for Osimhen - this summer - should the 26-year-old agree to return to the club. Whether that agreement will be forthcoming is unclear particularly considering the quality of the striker.
The Turkish club look destined to win the Super Lig and qualify for next season's Champions League but the lure of Europe's elite competitions simply may not be enough alone to keep Osimhen.
