CTET 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026. According to the notice, the CTET February 2026 will be held on February 8, 2026. Both CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be held on the same day. The exam will be conducted in 20 languages and in 132 cities.
A detailed information bulletin will be released soon on the CTET website https://ctet.nic.in. It will contain details of the syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, exam fee, exam cities, and important dates. Interested candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from the above website only and read it carefully before applying. CTET 2026: Application Fee
Paper-1 (for Classes I to V):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1000
SC/ST/PWD: ₹500
Paper-2 (for Classes VI to VIII):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1000
SC/ST/PWD: ₹500
Both Papers (Paper-1 and Paper-2):
General/OBC (NCL): ₹1200
SC/ST/PWD: ₹600
CTET 2026: CTET Exam Pattern
Paper-1 (for Classes I to V)
CTET Paper-1 (for Classes I to V) will consist of 150 questions. All questions will be multiple-choice type. The exam will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration. Each question will carry one mark.
