Important questions related to studies and finance will be asked in the interview for the Finland study visa. It is necessary to have at least EUR 6,720 in the bank account.
If you are dreaming of studying in Finland, then this news is very useful for you. This beautiful and peaceful country of Europe gives thousands of foreign students the opportunity to study every year. But before going there, you have to successfully pass the visa process. It is very important to know some rules especially related to visa interview and bank balance.
These questions will be asked in the visa interview
Why did you choose Finland for studies?
Which university and which course are you taking admission in?
Who will bear your expenses?
Have you already deposited the tuition fees?
What is your plan after completing the course?
You should make full preparations before answering these questions. While taking the interview, the visa officer closely checks your language, behavior and the authenticity of the documents.
Bank balance condition – this much money should be there in the account
Just getting admission to study in Finland is not enough. The most important condition for a visa is that your bank account should have an amount of EUR 6,720 (about 6 lakh rupees). This amount has been fixed according to the expenses of one year i.e. EUR 560 per month.
If your studies are for two years, then you will have to show the equivalent of two years' expenses in the bank account i.e. about EUR 13,440. It is important to show this amount so that it can be proved that you can bear your own expenses while studying in Finland.
What documents will be required?
Passport (validity should be at least till the course duration)
Admission letter (from any university in Finland)
Bank statement
Health insurance
Passport size photo
Visa form (filled correctly)
Tuition fee receipt (if already deposited)
English language score (IELTS/TOEFL)
What is the further process?
After preparing all these documents, you have to apply on the Finland visa portal and go to the visa center for biometric verification. After the interview, the visa is usually expected to be granted within 2 to 4 weeks.
