Supreme Court Order on Stray Dogs: The Supreme Court has ordered the establishment of shelter homes for all stray dogs in the Delhi-NCR region. Those who stop the administration will get this punishment.

Now in view of this, the Supreme Court on Monday has given instructions to keep all the stray dogs from the areas of Delhi-NCR in shelter homes.
Now all these dogs will be picked up from the road and given place in shelter homes. It has been seen many times that when the administration comes to take these stray dogs. Then many dog lovers stop the officials. If you are also a dog lover and stop the administration from doing its work. Then action can be taken against you.
Action will be taken if you stop catching dogs
On Monday, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R Mahadevan directed that stray dogs in Delhi-NCR should be caught and kept in shelter homes. This rule will be applicable in all areas. Let us tell you that the Supreme Court has shown a lot of seriousness regarding this matter. The court has also warned that if any person or organization interferes in this process.
Tries to stop it or creates any kind of trouble. Then a case of contempt of court will be registered against him. During the hearing in the case, Justice Pardiwala said that this step is not for our safety, but for the safety of the general public. Along with this, the court also said that a helpline should be started to register complaints of dog attacks or bites.
This can be the punishment
There can be a severe punishment for contempt of court. If any person or organization goes against the order of the Supreme Court and obstructs the action of catching dogs, then he will be considered guilty of contempt. If contempt is proved, there can be a maximum of 6 months imprisonment and a fine. In some cases, only a fine or only imprisonment can be given. This decision will depend on the court, how serious the case is. The court believes that not following the order is a direct disobedience of the law, and anyone can be given strict punishment for this.
