Microsoft is now giving its AI chatbot Copilot a face and expressions. This new experiment is named “Copilot Appearance” and is available in preview under Copilot Labs. This experiment is considered a big step towards making Copilot more interactive and human-like.
Copilot will now smile, nod, and show gestures.
With the help of Copilot Appearance, Microsoft's AI will now show facial expressions in real-time, such as smiling, nodding, and other non-verbal gestures. This will make chatting seem more natural and a human experience. Copilot will now understand your voice and respond with gestures. It also includes conversational memory, that is, it can remember previous parts of the conversation.
How to activate Copilot Appearance?
This feature is currently available only in the web version on a limited basis, and for this:
Click on the microphone icon in Copilot and go to Voice Mode.
Go to Voice Settings

Now, if you say ‘Hi’ or ask a question, Copilot will respond with a smile and gesture.
