Author and columnist Shobhaa De recently opened up about the staggering numbers behind Bastian’s success. According to her, the Dadar outlet reportedly earns between Rs 2–3 crore every night, with slower weekdays at around Rs 2 crore and weekends or peak nights exceeding Rs 3 crore.
Curious about the figures herself, De visited the restaurant and was amazed by the scale and energy of the place. During the conversation with Barka Dutt, she stated that the venue hosts approximately 1,400 guests every night in two separate seatings of 700 each, and despite its enormous size, there’s often a waiting list outside.
