Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired multiple review meetings with senior officials on the Delhi car blast, wherein he instructed the officials to "hunt down each and every culprit" behind the explosion. He affirmed that everyone involved in the act "will face the full wrath of our agencies."
In a post on X, Shah said, "Chaired review meetings on the Delhi car blast with the senior officials. Instructed them to hunt down each and every culprit behind this incident. Everyone involved in this act will face the full wrath of our agencies."
On November 10, a slow-moving Hyundai i20 car exploded near Gate 1 of Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi, killing at least 12 people and leaving several others injured. Several probe agencies, including NIA, NSG and the Special Cell of the Delhi Police are looking into the matter. The forensic team also collected samples from the explosion site last night to investigate the matter.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also stock of the situation immediately after the blast triggered a high alert in the national capital on Monday evening. He addressed the public on Tuesday saying that those behind the blast near Delhi’s Red Fort will face strict action, asserting that every individual involved in the conspiracy will be brought to justice.
Speaking from Bhutan's Thimphu, Modi said, "...The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice."

"Today, I come here with a very heavy heart. The horrific incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. I understand the grief of the affected families. The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice."
NIA to investigate Red Fort car blast case
The Ministry of Home Affairs' decision to transfer the case to the NIA suggests that the government views the Monday evening explosion as an act of terror since the NIA is mandated specifically to investigate such cases, as reported by PTI. NIA was formed in the aftermath of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
The instruction to the probe agency came after Shah presided over two back-to-back high-level security review meetings on Tuesday.
"The home minister has decided to hand over the investigation of the blast to the NIA. He has instructed the agency to investigate the case and submit a report at the earliest," a ministry official told PTI.

Shah said that top investigating agencies are probing the explosion and they will go in-depth into the blast that took place in a slow-moving car at a traffic signal near the Red Fort metro station on Monday evening.
According to PTI, the first review meeting related to the Red Fort blast was attended by key security and intelligence officials, including Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, and NIA Director General Sadanand Vasant Date. Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Nalin Prabhat also joined the review meeting virtually.
During the meeting, top officials gave detailed presentations on the situation in the aftermath of the blast, the officials told the news agency."MHA has issued orders for handing over the investigation of the car blast case to NIA. NIA has started the process of formally taking over the case," an agency spokesperson said.
