- According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, many such measures have been described in Ayurveda, which are very effective in getting good sleep. Also, by making some changes in your lifestyle, you can sleep peacefully. Scientific studies by the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) show that insomnia can be effectively managed through lifestyle changes, Ayurvedic remedies, a balanced diet, and mindfulness practices.
-Never consume tea or coffee before bedtime. Avoid drinking caffeinated coffee late at night. Also, avoid tea. Caffeine-rich beverages affect sleep. According to experts, stop consuming caffeine completely after evening. Instead, drinking herbal teas like chamomile or tea made from ashwagandha promotes sleep.
-Make it a habit to do yoga and deep breathing every day. Yoga and pranayama, like Anulom-Vilom and Bhramari, reduce stress. Calm the mind. Do yoga for 10 to 15 minutes daily. Especially, doing Shavasana or Balasana improves the quality of sleep. Deep breathing techniques provide oxygen to the brain, which helps in falling asleep quickly.
- Fix a time to sleep every day and sleep at that fixed time in any case. Fixing a sleep schedule is an effective way to overcome insomnia. Make a habit of sleeping and waking up at the same time every day. This balances the body's biological clock. It regulates the sleep cycle.

-Before sleeping at night, massage the head and feet with oil lightly. According to Ayurveda, massaging the head and feet with sesame, mustard, or coconut oil before sleeping reduces stress. Blood circulation improves. It not only helps in getting good sleep, but also relaxes the body.
