A teenager has been charged with attempted murder following a double stabbing.
Emergency services, including armed police, were called to an address in Kirkby, at around 8.25pm on Wednesday and found a 15-year-old boy had suffered a number of stab wounds to the body. A 14-year-old girl suffered a single stab wound to the chest.
Detective Inspector Graeme Osborne said: “Even though we have made arrests and a charge our investigation remains ongoing. We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
