Judd Trump may not double his tally this year - but the former world champion remains a true great in the sport. The 35-year-old was bested by Mark Williams 17-14 in the semi-finals of the tournament which saw the Welshman, 50, become the oldest finalist in Crucible history.
Trump, already regarded as one of the most successful snooker players in history, boasts 30 ranking titles throughout his career. This places him behind only Ronnie O'Sullivan, Stephen Hendry and John Higgins on the all-time list, reports . He also holds five Triple Crown titles.
Despite these achievements, his victory at the 2019 World Championships remains his only title, and he'll have to wait until 2026 for another chance of earning a world title. His run to the semi-finals in snooker's biggest event follows a busy few months for the Bristol-born star, who now lives thousands of miles away from the UK.

From his new home across the world and sports star girlfriend to his substantial net worth, here's what you need to know about Trump's life away from the snooker table.
Sports and TV star girlfriendTrump is currently in a relationship with Hong Kong figure skater and TV personality Maisy Ma. Despite being ten years older than the athlete, the quiet couple seem to be going strong, although they prefer to keep their romance private by not sharing photos of each other on social media.
As an accomplished skater, Ma's won several medals, and has also been building a career as a TV presenter, hosting events such as the Paris Olympics and events, as well as collaborating with Mercedes-Benz for corporate events.

Trump recently discussed his relationship with Ma, stating: "She's used to being in the limelight herself, she still does TV work. It's a good balance because she knows what I'm going through, I think that helps as well." With over 180,000 followers, Ma is no stranger to the public eye.
The snooker star has faced criticism for his lavish lifestyle in the past, with promoter Barry Hearn once labelling him a "part-time playboy". However, Trump has since denied this claim, stating in an interview with The Independent: "Barry Hearn has said there's no time for playboys, but I'm not a playboy," and has even removed the phrase from his bio.
Prior to his relationship with Ma, Trump was linked to UAE equestrian Khadijah Misr, who was spotted celebrating his victory at the 2017 Players Championship. However, the relationship eventually came to an end. Now, it seems Trump has found a better balance in his life with Ma, who understands the pressures of being in the public eye.
Relocating from UKThe Bristolian is making significant life changes, with plans to permanently relocate to Dubai. Despite having taken up residence in Hong Kong last year, Trump that his partner Ma won't be joining him in Dubai.
"My practice tables are getting taken out next week so it's pretty permanent now," he said earlier this year. "My main base will be in Dubai but my girlfriend lives in Hong Kong. I have residence in both Dubai and Hong Kong so I'll be split between them depending where the tournaments are.
"It's very different, completely different from what I'm used to. I'm used to my old life of just going to practice and then sitting at home all night, every day. Now there's a lot more opportunities to do different things," he remarked. "It's a more outdoorsy lifestyle, living in those different places, a lot more time after snooker to spend in the sun, or go to the beach or whatever.
"It's a bit better and more inspiring than being in the miserable weather for months. When you're winning it's a lot easier to be happy. When you're travelling around and you fancy your chances of winning every event, you're not dreading going to venues. It definitely helps.
"Where I'm living as well, it makes it easier to accept defeat. It's easier to travel back to that. You're in a bit of a bubble for the first few years when you make changes in your life or new things happen. You're a lot happier when you lose to go home."
Net worthAchieving numerous victories has significantly increased Trump's wealth over his career. His net worth stands impressively at about £10million, mainly thanks to amassing over £8m in career prize earnings, according to data from CueTracker.
Notably, this season Trump has raked in £1.56 million, with £500,000 of that being the grand prize at the prestigious Saudi Arabia Masters. While he won't be cashing in the winner's prize share of £500,000 or the runners-up's share of £200,000 from the Crucible, he's raked in £100,000 due to making the semi-finals.
