A Hollywood star’s hit crime drama from the creator of Yellowstone is back on Paramount+ for its new season.
Even more reason to celebrate is the fact that critics are calling the latest instalment its best season yet.
Sylvester Stallone stars in Tulsa King, produced by Taylor Sheridan and written by Terence Winter, which has just returned for its third season today (Sunday, 21st September).

The Rocky star portrays former New York mafia capo Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, who is sent by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma after spending more than two decades in jail.
Season two, which concluded in November last year, had Dwight up against insurmountable odds yet again when he’s threatened and abducted by armed gunmen in the final moments of the finale.

Now, his criminal empire faces even more challenges as he’s not only pursued by the FBI but also comes up against a powerful new rival, the Dunmire family.
Whether you’re all caught up on The General’s thrilling crime saga or have yet to tune in, Tulsa King deserves a spot at the top of your watchlist now the third season has dropped.
FandomWire called it “bigger, bolder, and brasher — the best season yet” in their positive review.
“Stallone brings his trademark mumbling magnetism, balancing mob menace with sly, unexpected comedy,” they continued.
“A crime series for the underdogs, it’s as addictive as it is criminally entertaining.”
Collider agreed with the verdict, writing: “Season 3 is shaping up to be Tulsa King's most exciting installment yet.
“It adds strong antagonists to the world who set dangerous stakes early, backed by excellent new additions to the cast.”
They went on: “While it's impossible to say how well everything will ultimately come together, Tulsa King Season 3 is a thoroughly tense ride nonetheless — and the best that Sheridan's series has been so far.”
It’s definitely high praise considering fans of the series already consider Tulsa King to be a “masterpiece” of the crime genre.
One die-hard fan wrote in their five-star Google review: “Amazing. Just ridiculously good.

“Tulsa King is a gripping and captivating series that kept me hooked from the very first episode to the last.
“The storyline is rich with intrigue, well-developed characters, and unexpected twists. The acting is superb, and the production quality is top-notch.
“I can't recommend this series enough. It's a five-star masterpiece that's definitely worth watching!”
