New dating show The Honesty Box had TV viewers puzzled just minutes into the first episode, as many questioned the rules of the programme.
The E4 show launched on Monday (28th April), with Vicky Pattison and Lucinda Light welcoming a bunch of singletons to a lavish villa, with them each hoping to find true love.
However, it soon became clear that viewers at home were confused about the aim of The Honesty Box, with some having presumed that certain elements of the show would be private, while others thought couples were taking part to test their romance.

"Wait, everyone can see what is said in the box? #TheHonestyBox," one fan penned on X. A second asked: "wait do they stay in the same couple the whole show or do they recouple? #TheHonestyBox."
"Thought they were already couples and finding out if they could trust each other #TheHonestyBox," another puzzled E4 viewer said.
