Aldi has yet again been crowned the UK's cheapest supermarket - and what better way to celebrate than being in with a chance of winning a share of £1,000 to spend in stores? That's enough to buy a heap of goodies - from award-winning wine to delicious fresh and frozen groceries. For the fifth time in a row, leading trade magazine The Grocer has confirmed what savvy shoppers already knew: no one beats Aldi on price.
The survey - based on a basket of 33 everyday items - revealed Aldi's total came in at just £57.19 - making it some 30% cheaper than the most expensive competitor, Waitrose - meaning shoppers could save £24.70 by switching. Aldi is the fourth-largest supermarket in the UK, and consumer champion Which? has named Aldi as the UK's cheapest supermarket for each of the past four years, and for every month so far this year. It's safe to say £100 will go a long way at the store, so what are you waiting for? You've got to be in it to win it! To enter, simply fill in the form below:

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi, said: "Once again, the numbers speak for themselves. At a time when every penny counts, we're helping shoppers save every time they shop with us. Being named the UK's cheapest supermarket by The Grocer for the fifth time in a row proves that real value isn't about gimmicks or short-term offers - it's about consistently low prices on the products people buy every week. That's exactly what we offer."
This competition closes at 23.45 on August 31, 2025. Good luck!
