Endless hours are spent in rehearsals as celebrities strive to impress the judges on Strictly Come Dancing each year.
But there's seemingly another incentive to reach the final weeks of the BBC show, as pay packets reportedly grow at this stage. From reality TV personalities to sports stars and soap actors, all reportedly receive the same flat rate fee of £25,000.
Despite the varying levels of fame among the celebs, the fee is said to be completely non-negotiable with the producers.
Yet, there are bonuses for those who excel in the show, intensifying the competition even further.
If the celebrities survive past Blackpool and the quarter-final, their salary leaps to £60,000. And the rewards don't stop there, reports the Mirror.
If they then dazzle the judges and viewers to reach the semi-final, they reporetedly receive a paycheque of £75,000. And the winner of one of the UK's most popular TV shows walks away with a cool £100,000.
However, these pay cheques come at some cost. Many celebrities suffer injuries and exhaustion after weeks of battling it out in the Strictly Come Dancing series.
Meanwhile, reports suggest departing presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly each pocket around £150,000 per series.
Strictly Come Dancing marks an unofficial countdown to Christmas for many people, as stars and their professional partners try their best to impress judges and viewers, in a bid to take home the coveted Glitterball trophy.
