The Chase has been on our television screens for well over a decade now, and there have been plenty of contestants who have tried to win a cash prize over the years. One player has lifted the lid on their experience on the popular ITV quiz show and revealed what Bradley Walsh is like when the cameras aren't rolling. Taking to Reddit in a forum, a former contestant had his say on the host and said that Bradley didn't interact with them as much. He typed: "Brad was nice but, aside from introducing himself, he never interacted with us during breaks when we stopped filming - compared to different to hosts on other shows I've been on."
The player also added: "We won and the prize money came from ITV's Payroll at the end of the month after we filmed. With most quiz shows, you don't get the prize money until the show airs."

They also mentioned their Chaser, Shaun Wallace (aka The Dark Destroyer), who they described as "lovely" and who "won them over."
Another player in the same forum described their own story on The Chase, typing: "I've been on it. Brad was lovely - it must be hard to live up to people's expectations too.
"He's professional and acts up for the camera which is not a negative by any means. He knows he needs to add levity and entertain those at home."
They also continued: "I will also say the chairs the contestants sit on are the most uncomfortable seats ever! My back was killing for weeks after."
Prior to The Chase, Bradley played Danny Baldwin in Corrie from 2004 until 2006. He has also had a go with other TV shows, and has featured in Doctor Who, Law & Order UK, and King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword.
Since 2009, the comedian has hosted the famous quiz programme The Chase. Bradley's son Barney has also recently been involved in the spotlight after co-presenting the ITV show Gladiators alongside his father.
He landed the role after experiencing fame in the BBC drama Casualty. He joined the series in spring 2023 as accident-prone nurse Cameron. He also appeared in Law & Order and Doctors.
