Migrant hotels LIVE: Police brace for protests across the country as tensions soar

Protests outside a number of asylum seeker hotels are planned for towns across the UK this weekend.

As reported by The Independent, demonstrations are set to be held in Chichester, Cannock, Wakefield and Tamworth, as well as Gloucester and Maidstone.

It is believed campaign group Stand Up To Racism will attend to counter-protest.

This comes after the High Court granted Epping Forest District Council a temporary injunction to stop migrants from being housed at a hotel after days of protests were held.
