Darragh Ennis has revealed who he thinks the "best" is at quizzing - and the self-confessed egomaniac has shared that it isn't him. In a shock revelation, the 44-year-old brainiac admitted that his co-star, , actually takes the title for top quizzer.
Speaking exclusively to at one of his quiz nights, in Southport's Atkinson theatre, Darragh shared: "Even including myself, [the best] is Paul Sinha. I am an egomaniac, I think I am brilliant and I always have. But Paul was the number one ranked in quiz.

"He beat Kevin Ashman, from . If you don't understand quiz, is the best British quizzer of the last 50 years. He is epically good, and Paul beat him. Paul is better than any of us, the rest of us are not even close."
Speaking about what some of the other Chasers are like, Darragh shared that lives up to his quizzing alter ego. He said: "Mark is a very confident, cocky kind of guy. He hates losing. He really wants to win, he wants to crush people. That is very much his thing. Mark is a very competitive beast of a guy.
"But just to be clear, he is very, very nice to me and has helped me infinitely. He is a lovely guy. But in a competition, he would bulldoze me and not care at all. If he could win in every game, he would be delighted."
Darragh also admitted that he shares some of Mark's fierce competitiveness, saying: "I think that I have a bit more empathy for contestants than the others, purely because I have been in their shoes. But don't get me wrong, if I could crush every team, like Mark, I would be very very happy. I am competitive and I want to break them down and crush them. It's horrible but that's how it is."
Darragh recently invited live audiences across the nation to take part in his Ultimate Pub Quiz tour. He put on six shows, with visits to Barnard Castle, Sheffield, Bedford, Liverpool, Southport and Manchester, with tickets costing £20 which also included a meet and greet with the star himself.
The nights, which were full of banter, were led by Darragh who hosted multiple rounds of questions spanning general knowledge, pop culture, history, and more. The quizzing legend will be back on tour with more dates around the UK, which are yet to be confirmed, later this year.
