With brighter days and rising temperatures, Britons nationwide have been enjoying more time in the great outdoors. Yet this frequently leads to clothing stains, especially visible on white items. These persistent yellow patches, caused by perspiration, antiperspirant or sun lotion, can prove challenging to shift. Despite a hot wash cycle, these marks often remain stubbornly in place.
Thankfully, cleaning specialists at Shark Clean have revealed their expert advice for banishing these stains this summer. The professionals recommended: "Choose an oxygen-powered stain remover, or make a paste from baking soda and water. Brush your stain remover onto the yellow areas to target them."

Bicarbonate of soda offers a natural solution for eliminating marks, available from supermarkets for just 60p, reports the Express.
Baking soda tackles stains by working as an absorbent, neutraliser, and gentle abrasive.
Allow the treatment to work for 20 minutes, or for particularly stubborn marks, leave overnight.
Afterwards, wash the item on your regular programme in the washing machine, repeating if required.
For those troubled by sun cream stains, typically around the collar area, the specialists suggest using laundry detergent and hot water.
The experts advised: "Fill a sink or bowl with hot water and washing powder, following the manufacturer's instructions for quantities, or substitute washing powder for white vinegar."
Submerge the garment in the solution and allow it to soak briefly before moving to the following stage. For persistent stains, choose an oxygen-based stain remover, or create a paste using baking soda and water.
Apply the stain remover to the yellowed areas to tackle them directly, allowing them to soak for at least 30 minutes before rinsing with clean water.
Then, launder as usual in your washing machine, repeating the process if needed.
Make sure the garments are fully dry before evaluating the outcome.
