People on a fitness journey know that getting rid of the belly fat is perhaps the toughest part of the journey. You can build muscle, shed kilos, but the belly fat clutches onto you like a clingy ex. But what if we told you that you can have those abs by eating some delectable foods? Sounds like a dream, right? Well, it's true, and possible. Getting shredded does not have to mean cutting off everything you love to eat.

A popular fitness trainer who goes by the name JosiahPhysique on Instagram knows the struggle of shedding belly fat. After years of experimenting with diets and workouts, he’s cracked the code to shedding stubborn pounds in just two months. No, it’s not about starving or eating bland meals, but indulging in some really flavourful foods and shedding the pouch. In a video shared on Instagram, Josiah reveals the foods that helped him shed belly fat in just two months.

“Here are some great healthy choices of food I consumed that really helped in weight and fat loss. It’s vital to look things up yourself and have a great understanding of what you’re putting into your body and what can aid in helping you reach your body goals,” the fitness coach says in the post.

Josiah’s list is packed with proteins, veggies, and fruits that make healthy eating feel like a treat. His diet plan was pretty simple: eat nutrient-dense, high-protein, low-carb foods, and aim for roughly 1,500 calories daily during a fat-loss phase.

In order to lose fat, you need to eat protein. His choice of protein was staples like tuna, chicken, turkey, salmon, eggs, and Greek yogurt, which are easily available. While you can easily get tuna and even fix an easy lunch with it, he also added salmon for the omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 is great for heart health. For meat options, he picked chicken and turkey. Greek yogurt is a protein-rich source that is also yummy. Eggs are another no-brainer and will also keep you full for longer.

Vegetables are a non-negotiable part of his diet. Greens like spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, and celery are low in calories and nutrient-rich.

The coach chooses his carbs wisely. Bananas are his grab-and-go energy boost, while sweet potatoes satisfy with their natural sweetness. Fruits like strawberries, watermelon, apples, and mixed berries are pure indulgence and nutritious without giving a calorie overload.
